## Dr Emily Ware

**Women's Health Specialist GP**  
**Clinical Educator**  
Outside the Box Founder and Director

Emily is a Women's Health Specialist GP with an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from RANZCOG. She is Clinical Lead of the Vagenius training course for persistent pelvic pain, has chaired advisory boards on the management of endometriosis, and sits as a Director on the Australian New Zealand Vulvovaginal Board. She is a clinical educator through UTAS, teaching the women's health curriculum to third-year medical students, and holds professional membership with the Australian Menopause Society and International Society of the Study Vulvovaginal Disease.

Her interests include vulvovaginal health and skin conditions, perimenopause and hormonal challenges, persistent pelvic pain, endometriosis and adenomyosis, alongside the full breadth of gynaecological care - period problems and abnormal bleeding, PMOS, adolescent gynaecology, contraception and family planning.

Emily's experience spans public and private practice, regional and remote Australia, and rural northwest Bangladesh, giving her a grounding in cross-cultural care and in working alongside communities with limited access to healthcare.

Emily is a lifelong learner and a creative at heart, and there's nothing she finds more rewarding than working alongside women to problem-solve their care and help them thrive in the next stage of life.

Outside of work, Emily is married with three children and finds joy in their creative and sporting pursuits alongside her own.
